James Richard Arnold, age 89, of Constantine, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Rivercrest Specialty Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Honors for Centreville FFA

Centreville’s Future Farmers of America judging team successfully competed at the Michigan 4-H/FFA meat-judging contest at Michigan State University July 25. Hit and run crash

A St. Joseph County Sheriff’s sergeant was involved in a hit and run crash Saturday evening on Shimmel road near Mintdale Road. 22-year-old Stephen Stockwell of Sturgis allegedly struck the patrol car and fled eastbound on Mintdale. Betty Jane (Bickle) Spencer, 94, of Constantine, passed away Saturday, August 2nd, at Heartland Health Care Center. Search for missing woman called off

  Cass County law-enforcement officials have called off their search for a woman missing since last week. Dowagiac police said 25-year-old Rose Morris is voluntarily missing and as a result, police are no longer involved in the case.
