County coronavirus cases down

Michigan reported fewer coronavirus cases in the week ending Feb. 13, adding 29,804 new cases. That’s down 50.2 percent from the previous week’s tally. St. Joseph County reported 129 cases and three deaths in the most recent week. A week earlier, it had reported 391 cases and five deaths. Country club break-in suspect located

Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched Sunday to Coldwater Country Club in response to a breaking-and-entering incident. According to an agency media release, investigators arrived and found evidence of forced entry. United Way sets new fundraising record

The St. Joseph County United Way 2022 campaign set a new record in terms of funds raised. Executive director Kelly Hostetler said the 12-month campaign raised more than $1.2 million.
