Commission approves several park matters

A Mendon-area woman was recognized Tuesday for her devotion to the county’s animal shelter. Former superintendent sentenced in armed bank robbery

A former superintendent at a Michigan school district has been sentenced in the armed robbery of a St. Clair County bank. According to court records, 51-year-old Thomas Goulette was sentenced to three-and-a-half to 20 years in prison on a charge of armed robbery Monday. St. Joseph County sheriff’s officials responded to a hit-and-run, property-damage incident over the weekend in Lockport Township.
