A single-family residence in Sturgis appears to be a total loss after it sustained fire, smoke and water damage early Monday. Cash was stolen from a vehicle this week outside a residence in Sherman Township. State police said the incident occurred in the early morning hours Monday in the 67000 block of Thunderbird Drive.
