A Schoolcraft woman charged with embezzling from the Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce waived her preliminary examination this week. Plane crash in Three Rivers

The pilot of a single-engine, ultra-light plane escaped serious injury Wednesday evening when the plane crashed into a wooded area near Hov Aire Drive in Three Rivers. The pilot, 71-year-old Peter Wilkins of Kalamazoo, was attempting to land at Three Rivers Airport when he reported he lost lift and crashed.
