An unknown amount of cash was stolen from a church last week in Branch County’s Coldwater Township. State police were called at 5 a.m. Friday to the 200 block of Lockwood Road in response to a breaking-and-entering incident. The theft occurred between 6 p.m. Feb. 26 and 5 a.m. Feb. 27.
