TR woman dies of injuries

A 60-year-old Three Rivers resident has died following a pedestrian mishap in Schoolcraft. Anne Daugherty died at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo early Monday afternoon from injuries sustained in the accident, after she was hit by a semi-rig while attempting to cross US-131 in the business district shortly after dark on Friday.

Girl hurt in accident

A 16-year-old Colon resident was treated for minor injuries following a one-car accident Sunday in Colon Township. The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department said Heather Avery was driving north on Kane Road when she lost control of her vehicle and it rolled over.
