Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a breaking-and-entering incident that occurred at a location in Lockport Township. Sturgis man sentenced in counterfeit case

St. Joseph County Circuit Court Judge Paul Stutesman has sentenced a Sturgis man for counterfeit activity. Scott Bressler, 41, received eight months in the county jail for running an operation that involved obtaining fake IDs, and using computers to forge and counterfeit checks from various businesses.
