Mendon Downs Colon, 49-8, in 1st Round of Gridiron Playoffs

  Colon was no match for Mendon’s powerful offense and stingy defense at Saturday’s opening round of the state playoffs. The Hornets dominated the Magi, 49-8, from start to finish. Mendon,9-1, now will host Climax-Scotts, also 9-1, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.  8, at John Schwartz Field in Mendon.
