Commission makes annual allocation to Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners last week made its annual appropriation to the county’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Pileup closes I-94

Police have lifted an evacuation order for a three-mile area around a stretch of I-94 in Kalamazoo County that is closed in both directions due to two pileups involving as many as 150 vehicles with at least one death reported. Flu cases are increasing

Nearly 20 people in Michigan have now died from complications associated with the flu. Health officials say five people have died in Oakland and Washtenaw Counties. Employment agreements approved by board

A number of employment agreements were approved this week by the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners. Two children die in Three Rivers fire

Investigators are trying to find the cause of a fire in a Three Rivers mobile home that killed two young boys on Wednesday. Antonisha Winters lost her four and two-year-old sons in the blaze on the west side of the city.
