Walk for Warmth successful

Saturday’s 28th Walk for Warmth event raised more than $5,400. Organizers of the annual fundraiser said they are optimistic additional donations will help reach their goal of $8,000. Sheriff selling 911 mailbox signs

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is once again selling 9-1-1 mailbox address signs. The signs are 6-by-17 1/2 inches and are green with reflective, 3-inch numbers on both sides. The village of Constantine is one of 34 municipalities in Michigan to receive a portion of $15 million to help eliminate blight in the community.
