Michigan State Police troopers are investigating the larceny of a motor vehicle. According to a department media release, a fraudulent cashier’s check was used to purchase a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The transaction took place Oct. 2 in the 16000 block of Fawn River Road in White Pigeon Township. Authorities said a male suspect is responsible for producing the fraudulent check.

A 25-year-old Centreville-area man will serve 60 days in jail and two years of probation for shooting at three former roommates outside the Sherman Township home they shared. Michigan Department of Transportation officials said Construction of a 6.1-mile stretch of M-60 from Wood Lake Road east to U.S. 131 is continuing on schedule.
