A busy intersection in Colon Township will be converted to a four-way stop beginning today. Child abuse charges for two Constantine residents

Two Constantine residents are in jail on charges related to child abuse. Constantine police chief Mark Honeysett said officers were notified by doctors from Three Rivers Health that a 7-month-old girl was treated for skull fractures and bruising, signs of potential abuse, according to Honeysett. Cass County deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash earlier this week in Newberg Township. Sheriff Richard Behnke said the incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday on M-60 between M-40 and Wood Lake Road. Howe Military Academy’s Board of Trustees has announced the school will not reopen for the 2019-20 academic year.
