A gas station in Cass County recently sold a $300,000 winning scratch-off lottery ticket. According to a Michigan Lottery press release, a 53-year-old woman bought the ticket at Edwardsburg Marathon. Sturgis tests waters for PFAS contaminants

The city of Sturgis recently received test results from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances at the clean water discharge end of the city’s wastewater treatment plant. Two people died in an early-morning fire Tuesday in White Pigeon.
