Motorcyclist injured in crash

A Vicksburg resident was injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this week in Fabius Township. Sheriff’s officials said the 47-year-old victim was driving north on U.S. 131 at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, when he was distracted by another motorist at the M-60 eastbound intersection. Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke said a 16-year-old Cassopolis youth was injured this week in a single-vehicle accident. He said a car driven by Davonte Gouins was on Brownsville Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. A fishing boat was reported stolen earlier this week from a Constantine Township location. State police said the theft was reported at 1:20 p.m. Sunday from the 14000 block of Timm Road.
