Man arrested west of Three Rivers

State police arrested a 40-year-old Fabius Township man after an incident and subsequent foot chase last week. According to a department media release, troopers were called at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13 to the 60000 block of Youngman Road. Upon arrival, troopers were told the man left the scene on foot. An unidentified 34-year-old man was seriously injured early Monday when he was stabbed in the neck at a home on Constantine Street, just south of Broadway, on the south side of Three Rivers. Volunteers needed for river cleanup

The St. Joseph County Conservation District is seeking volunteers to assist with the second of its seven river cleanup events. The next cleanup will be Saturday on a stretch of the St. Joseph River from Jacksonburg Road in Leonidas Township to M-66.
