Cyclones ground K-Wings 5-1

CINCINNATI, OH – The Kalamazoo Wings dropped their second game in a row as the Cincinnati Cyclones turned the tables on the K-Wings after losing to them on Friday by a score of 7-3 at Wings Stadium.

Firing 46 shots, the Cyclones scored first and often in route to a 5-1 victory over the K-Wings.

With Darryl Bootland serving the first game of a two game suspension and forward Steven Anthony called up to the AHL Chicago Wolves, the K-Wings added four players to their roster prior to the game.

Coming to the K-Wings are forwards Dustin Cloutier, Alan L’Esperance Rob Sich and Matt Whitehead.

Whitehead scored the K-Wings lone goal with assists from Sich and Ellington. The K-Wings managed only 14 shots in the game.

The K-Wings return home on Friday night to take on the Toledo Walleye. It will be another Frugal Fan Friday with beer, hot dogs and Pepsi products on sale for just $1.
