K-WINGS AND NAILERS TO MEET IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS

The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, two-time defending North Division Champions, reigning Eastern Conference Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League’s Albany Devils, announce the times and dates of 2012 Kelly Cup Playoff Eastern Conference Quarterfinal match-up against the Wheeling Nailers .

The K-Wings and Nailers will square off in a best-of-five series that will have a 2-3 format. The series will commence Tuesday, April 3rd at the WesBanco Arena. Game two of the series will occur on Wednesday, April 4th. Face-off for both games is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The next three games of the series are slated for Wings Stadium beginning with game three on Friday, April 6th at 7:30 p.m. Game four, if needed, will be played on Vanrick Drive at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7th, while game five, in needed, will occur at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 9th.

During the regular season, the K-Wings and Nailers played three times, with Kalamazoo going 2-1-0-0.

Last year, the K-Wings defeated the Nailers in six games during Eastern Conference Finals.

Tickets for the K-Wings round one playoff games are $16.05 and $19.95 for adults, $15.05 for seniors (62 years and older) and military (with proper ID) and only $10.05 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $1.
