A 53-year-old Three Rivers man was airlifted to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo Wednesday following a two-vehicle accident in Fabius Township.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m., when 85-year-old Lloyd Hagenbuch, of Three Rivers, was driving south on Krull Road and failed to come to a complete stop at the Gleason Road intersection, authorities said.
His vehicle struck a pickup driven by Dayton Smith. Investigators said Smith’s truck rolled over as a result of the collision. A 44-year-old passenger, Tara Scott, community of residence not stated, was trapped inside Smith’s pickup and had to be extricated by fire personnel.
She and Hagenbuch were transported to Bronson Hospital.

I live right where this happened and this isn’t the first accident I’ve seen in the past few years. Perhaps a 4 way stop and a lower speed limit/regular speed trap is in order? I won’t even let my kids ride their bikes because of the way people drive out there.
