Two injured in Cass County accident

Two Cass County residents were injured following an accident earlier this week in Newberg Township.

Sheriff Richard Beheke said deputies were called at 6:45 a.m. Monday to M-60 near Monkey Run Road.

Investigators found 33-year-old Charles Rosen II and his wife, 24-year-old Natasha Rosen, were traveling west on M-60 when the car experienced some sort of malfunction. Rosen told deputies he lost control of the car and it left the roadway before rolling over several times.

Both occupants appeared to have injuries and were transported to Borgess-Lee Hospital. Seat belts were worn and alcohol does not appear to be a factor, investigators said.
