A suspect believed to be behind the armed robbery of a Sturgis bank last week is in custody.
According to a media release from the Sturgis Police Department, a citizen’s tip led to the apprehension of a 41-year-old man Friday at a store in Three Rivers. The bank robbery occurred Wednesday morning at Sturgis Bank and Trust on South Centerville Road.
The man’s community of residence was not included in the release.
