Robert Craw, 84

Robert L. Craw, age 84, of Hudson, MI passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Oct. 17, 1936 in Three Rivers, a son to the late Howard and Betty (Walters) Craw.
Robert graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1955. He then joined the U.S. Navy earning the rank of E-4 and discharged in 1959.
On March 31, 1960 in LaGrange, he married Hazel Marie Jacobs. She preceded him in death Oct. 25, 1998.
He later married JoAnn who currently resides in New York.
Robert had been employed for Playwood Plastics for 8 years, Sturgis Iron & Metal for 4 years, Murphy Motor Freight for 11 years, and retired from U.S.F. Hollard Motor Freight in 2000.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, reading, bird watching, and spending the winter months in Leesburg, Florida.
Surviving are his wife: JoAnn; 2 daughters: Tammy Osmun of Hudson, and Bobbette (Al) Wisman of Hudson; 4 grandchildren: Randelle Osmun, Colette(James) Barton, Justin (Amanda) Pfenning, and Amanda (Brandon) Bishop; 2 step-grandchildren: Joeby (Brittany) Wisman and Jessica Wisman and fiancé: Alex Wheaton; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister: Pat Sutton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1st wife: Hazel.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.
A Graveside Service celebrating the life of Robert L. Craw will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, at Oak Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Fred Slagle, officiating. Full Military Honors will be conferred by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and the Capt. John J. Kelley V.F.W. Post #1355.
