The Huss Project Farmer’s Market has opened for the season. It operates 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
Meanwhile, Huss officials have announced that a children’s play area is available and features a mud kitchen, swing and sandbox, as well as a forest trail and activities for children with their caregivers each market day.
Beginning in July, children and caregivers can register the morning of for a free “Nature Hour” program, which takes place 10 to 11 a.m. It includes storytelling, gardening and art projects and nature walk for children ages 3 through 12 and their caregiver. Registration starts at 9 a.m
