Sherry Farris, 36

Sherry Lynn (Middlestadt) Farris, age 36, of Marcellus, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at home in her husband’s arms and surrounded by her loving family.

Sherry was born in Kalamazoo on August 3, 1984, the daughter of Daniel Ray Middlestadt and Sheila Ann Ickes.

On December 28, 2005, in Centerville, she married Christopher Farris, who survives her in death.

Sherry was a devoted housewife, taking care of her children for many years before becoming an assembly line worker at TH Plastics in Mendon.

Sherry was a loving and devoted mother who was most passionate about spending time with her four beautiful children. She enjoyed sharing her love of animals, nature, and the outdoors with them by taking them hiking, exploring caves, mushroom hunting, camping, fishing, rockhounding, and to the beach. Sherry also enjoyed ghost hunting in cemeteries, abandoned houses, and old hospitals.

Sherry is survived by her husband Christopher Farris of Marcellus; children Breanne, Carter, Mason, and Riley Farris of Marcellus; mother, Sheila Ann Ickes; nephew, Zachary Kelley of Three Rivers; cousin, Terry Ladyga Jr. of Dowagiac; many aunts and uncles.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father Daniel Ray Middlestadt; brother Daniel Ray Middlestadt Jr.; sister Dawn Kelley; and niece Courtney Kelley.

The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Monday June 21, 2021, at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, 52780 M-40 North, Marcellus. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Jamie Smith of Riverside Church officiating. Burial will follow at Marcellus Cemetery.
