Charlotte A. White, age 69, of Sturgis, passed away Saturday evening, July 10, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born October 3, 1951 daughter of the late Charles Marion Sylvester and Marion (McNeil) White.
Charlotte resided most of her life in Burr Oak and took pride in calling it her hometown.
She had been employed by Lee Ann Plastics and the Blayco Corporation both in Burr Oak and worked as a kitchen aid at the Burr Oak Community Schools.
She was a member of the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene.
Charlotte enjoyed her animals and loved being a mom. Her doors were always open to anyone in need.
She is survived by two sons: Jim (Aleycia Kirk) White and Jody (Susan) White both of Sturgis; two grandchildren: Casey White and Nathan White; one brother and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis. Funeral services celebrating the life of Charlotte A White will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene in Sturgis. The Rev. John Shoup will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak.
The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donations in Charlotte’s memory consider the charity of one’s own choice.
