St. Joseph County Transportation Authority is appealing to businesses and individuals willing to help support its annual New Year’s Eve Free Ride Home program.
The six-hour service starts at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 and is offered free of charge to New Year’s Eve revelers in St. Joseph County. CTA drivers will pick up and drop off a rider anywhere in the county.
CTA director Allen Balog said the agency has offered the service for 10 years and has traditionally had strong financial support from the county’s business community.
Donations can range from $25 to $250, and may be sent to the CTA at 810 Webber Ave. in Three Rivers.
