Police chief awaiting information regarding body found

Three Rivers Police Chief Scott Boling said he expects to issue an update regarding the body found earlier this week in Three Rivers.

Boling said the remains have been sent to Western Michigan University’s medical school for examination. Boling said he is waiting to hear more information from WMU officials. Until then, Boling said he would prefer to not speculate on details related to the case.

The body was found Monday afternoon in a wooded area in the 300 block of Second Avenue. Boling said authorities were notified about the body by a person walking their dog.

  1. I understand waiting on the cause of death but his statement says nothing about the TRPD investigation. That investigation doesn’t get put on hold for the autopsy. Or maybe it does in TR. Residents of TR – this is what 50% of your tax dollars gets you.

  2. Well Chief Boling? When might that be?
