Carl L Stafford of Paw Paw, formerly of Constantine, died Friday, April 7, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Michigan to Randall and Grace (Bigelow) Stafford on May 15, 1943. He graduated from Constantine High School. He worked for Simplex in Constantine and retired from Parchment Paper Company (James Rivers.)
Carl had a good sense of humor and liked to laugh. He enjoyed listening to country music, B93 Country as his favorite station, watching westerns and action films, and the TV series NCIS. He loved animals and enjoyed the companionship of many dogs over the years; he loved each and every one of them. He was also fond of fast cars and fishing.
He married Sharon Herder in August of 1989.
He leaves behind his wife Sharon; daughters: Kym Meihler, Cheryl (Chris) Hickey, and Lisa (Larry) Huff; son Scott Baughman; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three siblings: Mary Ewing, Randi (Chuck) Witek, and Brad (Brenda) Stafford. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jayson Wickett, and sister Shirley Hackler.
Carl’s Life Story services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Betzler & Thompson Life Story Funeral Home, 60900 M40 Highway in Paw Paw. A reception where food, drinks, and stories will be shared at the funeral home.
