The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that took place over the weekend in Sturgis Township.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman said deputies were called shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday to the 69000 block of M-66 in response to shots fired in a business parking lot.
Investigators said several subjects were in a dispute and shots were fired at a vehicle as it drove away. No injuries were reported and a suspect has been identified.
No additional information was provided in a department media release.
