A 19-year-old Illinois man was arrested over the weekend in Fawn River Township after authorities observed him driving a car in excess of 150 miles per hour.
A pursuit of the driver started Sunday night on the Indiana Toll Road, where Indiana State Police attempted to pull over the eastbound driver. He exited at the Howe/LaGrange interchange and proceeded north into St. Joseph County.
The driver headed east onto Fawn River Road then south onto Kime Road, where the vehicle crashed in the 70000 block.
Authorities arrested Adrian Martinez, of Homer Glen, Ill., after he was treated at Parkview LaGrange Hospital for a head wound. He was booked into LaGrange County Jail.
