Glen Oaks Community College’s Health Science department is set to host the Healthcare College and Employment Fair later this month.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27 at the college’s grand concourse. The free event provided an opportunity for those seeking new employment or looking to advance their healthcare education.
Sara Birch, dean of the Health Science Department at GOCC, said the event is a great opportunity for GOCC students and community members who are aspiring to pursue careers in the medical field to engage with healthcare providers actively seeking to fill open positions.
Fifteen employers and five regional colleges have secured their spaces and are gearing up to conduct on-site interviews. Attendees are strongly encouraged to dress professionally, bring their resumes and be ready for potential interviews.
