Margaret Joan (Brown) Bellaire, age 82, of Sturgis, passed away in her sleep Sunday, February 18, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 20, 1942 in Sturgis, a daughter of the late Anson and Sylvia (Sutton) Brown Jr.
Margaret had worked in Indiana and Michigan and had been employed by Summit Polymers, Inc. for 17 plus years until she retired.
Surviving are 2 sons: Rodney Healey of Sturgis and Matthew Wirtz of Burr Oak; 3 daughters: Robin (Jess) Michielsen of Burr Oak, Rosina Healey of Sturgis, and Rita (Olin) Wilcox of White Pigeon; a daughter-in-law: Julie Wirtz of Sturgis; grandsons: Jesse Michielsen, Gary (Katie) Edgington Jr., Dallas (Karla) Wirtz, Rodney Healey Jr., and Joshua Miller; 3 step-grandsons: Adam, Nicholas, and Joshua Stutsman; granddaughters: Tabatha (Amanda) Hayden, Amanda (Troy) Figel, Samantha (Matt) Weber, Janeka (Caelan) Frahn, Kristen Hastings, Sarah (Julio) Andres, Chanel Stevens, and Jordan Montgomery; great-grandchildren: Michael and Alexis Healey, Bailey (Alexia) Michielsen, Danika and Tucker Price, Janyleigh Cox, Halle Edginton, , Reese Edgington, Ethan and Ivanna Wirtz; ; 3 great-great-grandchildren: Sofia, Maddie, and Hazel Michielsen; Sister: Berta Miller; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Robert Harold Healey Jr. and Greg Allen Wirtz, a grandson: Tyler Wirtz; 4 brothers: Clayton, William, Orin, and Anson Brown Jr.; 7 sisters: Beulah Sperry, Betrice Brown, Doris Boocher, Alice Brock, Celia Jones, Patricia Merriman, and Joanne Bauman; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis.
