Sherry Marie Riddell, age 73, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Ascension Borgess Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 10, 1950 in South Bend, the daughter of Paul and Florence (Jones) Hughes, and graduated from Clay High School. She moved to Three Rivers from Alabama after about 20 years.
On October 31, 1972, Sherry married Robert Frank Riddell.
She worked for 35 years as a cashier at Walmart, first in Alabama, and then in the Three Rivers store since it opened.
Sherry enjoyed reading, especially closing out her day with a good book at night. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and attending all their events.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her son, Jonathon Riddell; daughter, Tammy Hamman (Mickey Balle); grandchildren, Autumn Riddell, Piper Riddell, Stephen Lambright, and Adam Hamman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Robert Paul Riddell; son-in-law, Joseph Hamman; brother, Gary Hughes.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. She will be laid to rest at Greenview Memorial Park in Florence, Alabama.
