Health department offering breastfeeding class

Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is hosting a free class for expecting or currently-breastfeeding mothers.

The one-hour sessions are available 10 to 11 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. March 7, 14 and 28. Potential participants need only to choose one 60-minute session. The class is offered at the agency’s Coldwater office, 570 Marshall Road.

Topics include benefits of breastfeeding, signs that baby is getting enough nourishment and infant feeding cues.
