St. Joseph County’s remaining team in the MHSAA girls’ basketball tournament came up short in its bid to advance to the Final Four.
Mendon High School, which entered Tuesday’s quarterfinal game sporting a 23-3 record, fell, 51-to-32, to Fowler at Gobles High School.
Mendon won its first regional title in two decades and advanced to the quarterfinals against Fowler, which entered the game also 23-3.
Fowler takes on one-loss Ishpeming in a semi-final game tonight at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
