Sandi was married to the love of her life Ray Sanders on September 9, 1989 at the Hallelujah Center Church in White Pigeon.

They lived in Three Rivers until they settled in Constantine, where they raised their three girls and built their life together.

Sandi enjoyed family get togethers, back road cruising, puzzles, cards, books, scrabble, kids, anything that brought a house full of the sound of love and joy. She had well diverse sense of humor, telling jokes and remembering times that were decades old but so appropriate or “inappropriate” for any time.

In Loving Memory of Sandi

Sandi was a beacon of love and light, known and cherished by many. Her heart was as vast as the ocean, overflowing with unconditional love that she generously shared with everyone she met. Her warm smile could lift spirits, her kind eyes could thaw the coldest hearts, and her hugs felt like rays of sunshine on the darkest days.

Sandi possessed a strength that contradicted her petite stature, standing fiercely when needed, yet embodying the sweetest soul with a boundless heart that never ceased to pour out love. She exuded compassion, understanding, and acceptance, making everyone feel valued and loved in her presence.

Sandi’s greatest joy in life was her family and friends. Being a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loyal friend meant the world to her. Sandi’s love was transformative, making those around her better for knowing her. Whether as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, aunt, or cousin, she brought laughter, warmth, and acceptance to all. She offered support, generosity and patience that surpassed her ability at times, but that never stopped her from finding a way to give where there was a need.

Sandi’s legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. One love, loved many and by many.

The Sanders family is being cared for by the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, 129 South Grand, Schoolcraft, MI 49087 (269) 679-5622.
