Salvation Army seeking holiday volunteers

Here’s a reminder that the Salvation Army of Kalamazoo is preparing for six, upcoming holiday events and agency officials are issuing a call out for volunteer help.

Volunteer coordinator Oliver Knuth said the programs on tap are: Share the Warmth coat drive through the month of October; coat and winter items distribution Nov. 6; bell ringing Nov. 14 through Dec. 24; Thanksgiving dinner for senior citizens Nov. 20; Angel Tree starts in November and lasts through early December; and Christmas Toy Shop Dec. 18 and 19.
