A smalltown event that provides a big boost to local high school students makes its annual return tonight.
Mendon Kiwanis Showboat, a musical and comedy stage show featuring local talent, kicks off its three-night run at 7 o’clock at Mendon Elementary.
Dale Eickhoff, a member of the local civic group and longtime participant in the Showboat, said the 2024 theme of the 67th Showboat is “All Aboard the Kiwanis Cruise.”
Eickhoff said most of the musical selections will include the word “love” or center on love.
Eickhoff said Showboat is the Mendon Kiwanis Club’s main fundraiser throughout the year.
Tickets, available at the door, are $10.
