A number of churches and organizations are offering a Thanksgiving dinner this week, starting this afternoon with Three Rivers Community Kitchen.
Today’s event is from 4 to 6 p.m. at Trinity Church Parish Hall on Main Street. The meal is free, though a free-will offering will be accepted to help offset the cost of food.
Burr Oak Community Schools hosts its annual Thanksgiving dinner 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the school’s small gymnasium. A donation of $3 per person is suggested.
Also Wednesday, Burr Oak Missionary Church is offering its community dinner at 6 p.m. in its fellowship hall. There is no charge.
On Thursday, GracePoint Church in Sturgis is serving a free meal from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at 26268 W. Chicago Road. Event organizers ask that potential diners RSVP to confirm their attendance.
Free dinners are offered Thursday at two other locations in St. Joseph County: 12-2 p.m. at Constantine American Legion and 12 to 3 p.m. at Dawn’s Café in Colon.
