A Sturgis man died in a single-vehicle crash last week north of Sturgis in Burr Oak Township.
St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department said deputies were called shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday to the intersection of M-66 and Blackberry Lane in response to a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, deputies located a single vehicle that had struck a tree. The 34-year-old driver was the only person in the vehicle, authorities said.
The victim’s name was not released.
