Evelyn Joan Glessner, age 91, of Three Rivers, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Birch Meadows Senior Care.
She was born August 29, 1933 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Clarence and Rhea (Rifenberg) Kahler, and graduated from Three Rivers High School.
On July 25, 1953, Evelyn married the love of her life, Glen J. Glessner. The two enjoyed camping and traveling; they shared 60 years together prior to his passing in April 2014.
She enjoyed knitting and was an artist with colors.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her son, Mark (Kimberly) Glessner of Jones; daughters, Barbara (Tim) Cutler-Swartz of Kalamazoo and Marcy (James) Hendress of Edwardsburg; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Richard Kahler; and sister, Thelma Jean Hansmeier.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted, and a visitation held Friday, July 25, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. This date marks their 72nd anniversary and commemorates that they are again celebrating together.
