Sewage spill in Fabius Township

Constantine village officials reported a recent sewage spill from a force main in Fabius Township.

Village Manager Mark Honeysett said the incident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. June 10 in the 15000 block of Gleason Road. In all, more than 50,000 gallons of sewage was spilled, Honeysett said.

Work to repair the force main was completed in about 15 minutes. The incident was corrected by crews from Morris Excavating and Taplin Holdings.

  1. Wonder why these folks want to sue the village? Look up how many noxious toxic breaks and spills have happened to them. Thanks to Constantine.

  2. The village makes one mess after another. Never fixes them. Never learns. They invite stupidity like kids on spring break.
