Centreville Public Schools Board of Education recently approved a student trip to Europe.
The 2027 trip to England and France will be available to Centreville students currently in ninth, tenth and eleventh grades.
During their Aug. 25 meeting, board members listened to a presentation from high school social studies teacher Aaron Hartong. He said the 10-day trip will be organized through Passports, a travel company that specializes in high school international trips.
Hartong said the agenda includes a number of historical landmarks, including World War II sites and iconic locations, such as Westminster Abbey, the English Channel and the Eiffel Tower.
Cost is about $5,000 per student, and includes two meals daily, transportation and lodging.

Thank god the average student family can afford that!
Will they be able to travel freely throughout Europe?
Will they be able to re-enter the US without incident?
