Kenneth A. Foust, age 88, of Centreville passed away Friday evening, April 24, 2026 with his wife at his side.
He was born June 18, 1937 in Three Rivers, the son of Everett and Ruth (Hoyt) Foust.
He graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1955. After graduating he enlisted in the army for two years from Oct. 1955 – Oct. 1957.
Kenneth married Linda Shingledecker, the love of his life, on May 12, 1979 at the Howardsville Gospel Chapel.
He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, reading, trips to the casino and spending time with his beloved wife and family. He was employed at Continental Can, mailman for Three Rivers Post Office, and worked 25 years at Armstrong Machine Works before retiring in 2003.
Surviving are his loving wife, Linda; sisters, Betty Kirschenbauer of Three Rivers, Helen (Charles) Carpenter of Three Rivers and Sue (Robert) Fellows of Centreville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Myra; brothers-in-law Don and Norm.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home in Three Rivers. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 with nephew Paul Shingledecker officiating. Interment will be at Mendon Cemetery following services.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or American Cancer Society.
