Branch County Sheriff Fred Blankenship said the agency recently received a generous donation to support its drone program.
Blankenship said Michigan Gas Utilities and Wisconsin Public Service Foundation recently presented a $10,000 donation.
He said the funds will be used to support the office’s Unmanned Aircraft System. Specifically, drone capabilities by assisting with the acquisition of equipment, technology, training and resources.
