Mendon wins softball title

Mendon varsity softball has claimed its second Division 4 state title.

The Lady Hornets defended their 2025 title Saturday by defeating Brown City, 6-2.

Rowan Allen led Mendon by striking out 14 batters and allowing just three hits to guide the Hornets to their 32nd victory of the season.

Mendon’s seniors won 140 games over their four-year career and reached the state title game ever year.
