Arrest made in Sturgis fight incident

A person involved in a fight last week in Sturgis faces two felony charges.

According to a media release from Sturgis Department of Public Safety, officers were called at 9:40 a.m. Thursday to the intersection of U.S. 12 and Nottawa Street.

Officers found a man who had been struck in the head with a metal wrench, according to the agency. The victim was treated at Sturgis Hospital and reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect was located a short time later and arrested, officers said.
