Glenn Edward Starr, age 58, of Sturgis, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 2, 2025, at his home.
He was born December 15, 1966 in Paw Paw, son of Richard and Nora (Marr) Starr.
Glenn resided most of his life in Sturgis and was a proud graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1985. He had been employed for several years with Morgan Olson in Sturgis.
Glenn had a lifelong appreciation for trains and enjoyed camping, diamond art painting, collecting antiques, coins, and rocks, and watching old-school cowboy movies. He was also proud to have served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his daughters: Alexis Starr and Mia VanAtta, both of Bronson; mother: Nora Holtz of Sturgis; father: Richard Starr of Polk City, Florida; stepfather: Lindsey Holtz of Sturgis; sister: Tammie (Eric) Ruckle of Otsego; brothers: Richard Starr of Lakeland, Florida and Terry (Maria) Starr of Lutz, Florida; best friend: Kenny Rounds of Sherwood; and several nieces and nephews.
In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
