Robert (Bob) Allen Armstrong Sr., age 66, of Marcellus, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Beacon Kalamazoo surrounded by his family.
Bob dedicated 41 years working for the city of Three Rivers.
On July 25, 1980 he married the love of his life Kathy Harsh and from that union came their two daughters April and Shasta Armstrong. That marriage ended in divorce.
Feb. 14, 1992 he married Ronda Forsyth, from that union came a step daughter Lisa Hammond and their son Robert (Bobby) Allen Armstrong JR.
After Ronda’s passing Bob reunited with Kathy and from that came 2 more step children Toni and Chance Jackson.
Bob was a funny, loving, caring, and generous man who loved his family and friends wholeheartedly. He enjoyed going to M-40 Speedway, camping, fishing, hunting, Blue Grass music/festivals, and most of all spending time with his great grandchildren.
Bob was born in Charlevoix on May 24, 1959 to Joseph and Melva (Pardee) Armstrong.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Melva (Pardee) Armstrong, wife Ronda Armstrong, son Robert Armstrong Jr, sisters Janice Armstrong, and Kris Johnson, a brother Jack Armstrong, sister-in-law Kay Armstrong.
He left to cherish his memory, his Fiancé Kathy Sanders, Daughters April (Chad) Armstrong and Shasta (Kyle) Armstrong, Step Children Lisa Hammond, Toni (Austin) Jackson, Chance Jackson, 14 grandchildren, Cheyenne (Preston) Walker, Ariana (Alec) Armstrong, Leilani (Kaden) Kunz, Maryjane (Tucker) Muntian, Kyle (Laynie) Muntian, Elıkxandria Preston, Tau Lovick, Christian and Adah Armstrong, Shamir Huerta, Nova Sluis, Storm Singh, Westyn and Waylyn Gross, and 6 Great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and several nieces and nephews that he cherished.
His family will receive friends Saturday, February 21, 2026 at noon at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A celebration of Bob’s life will follow at 1:00 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Poe’s Cemetery at a later date.
