Thunderstorms will likely develop across Wisconsin this evening, moving over Lake Michigan late this evening especially after 8pm. These thunderstorms may feature damaging wind gust swaths of 75 mph or potentially greater as a fairly intense line could develop as it reaches the lakeshore. A few tornadoes are also possible both within the line itself and possibly in any isolated supercells that develop ahead of it. Some power outages will likely develop near and south of I-96 tonight. Heavy rainfall over a short amount of time may create urban and poor drainage flooding overnight which could last into Wednesday morning. Torrential downpours may lead to rapid street flooding overnight along with the risk for overflowing ditches and low lying areas already ponded by recent rainfall. (NWS)
